Special offer for Bellingham AutoCAD User Group members
October 5, 2009

BAUG is always looking for ways that our members can get more out of their Autodesk software. That’s why we wanted to let you know about this great new book for AutoCAD Map 3D 2010 and a special 10% discount for BAUG members.

Since AutoCAD Map 3D is part of Civil 3D and Land Desktop, this book is a valuable resource to any Civil 3D or Land Desktop user, as well as users of stand-alone AutoCAD Map 3D. Previous versions of the book are also available, so you can learn to take advantage of these powerful, yet often overlooked tools already installed on their computer, even if you haven’t upgraded to the latest version of AutoCAD.

Digging Into AutoCAD Map 3D 2010, is the latest book from Cadapult Software Solutions. Co-Authored by Rick Ellis and Russell Martin, it introduces you to the most important features of AutoCAD Map 3D that can help you to become a more productive and valuable user.

The book is 341 pages organized into 14 chapters, each designed with a user-friendly, exercise based, step-by-step approach to many common tasks, including:

Chester Rose
May 5, 2009

For those of you that don't follow the news, a previous board member and longtime member of BAUG, Chester Rose, was killed Tuesday, September 2nd in his home by a mentally disturbed individual on a killing spree.

Most of us remember Chet as an outgoing person always eager to learn about something new, even if he couldn't apply it the next day.
He was also BAUG's Official Heckler, always in the front row with the laughing jab and a quick smile.

Rest in peace my friend. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
